Historical HSBC Building (No.12 The Bund)
Description
The HSBC Building (No. 12, The Bund), now used by the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, was once the Shanghai headquarters of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, which failed to reach a deal with the Shanghai government to buy the building again in the 1990s, when the Shanghai government moved out of the building that they had used since the 1950s. The present building was completed in 1923. At the time, it was called "the most luxurious building between the Suez Canal and the Bering Strait". Its famous ceiling mosaics have been fully restored, and can be viewed inside the entrance hall.

Basilica de San Juan de Dios
Description

Description

Milwaukee, Wisconsin
US Bank Center
Description
The US Bank center in Milwaukee WI is the tallest in the city and in Wiscinsin standing at 601 feet with 42 floors . The building was designed by Fazlur Khan who also designed the Sears tower and Hancock Center in Chicago Illinois , only 40 miles away . The building was the First National Bank which later moved to a building near City Hall square . Then the Firstar Center occupied the building and also moved out , finally US Bank took control of the whole skyscraper . The city is expecting a mixed used skyscraper right next to the US Bank which will be the second tallest building (if built) and US Bank will occupy two floors of that building too . Another fact is that the US Bancorp center in Portland , OR is the tallest there and the exact same height as the US Bank in Milwaukee !
